Well everything on the 'Mom Scene' is done and over. I am sooooo happy to have my place back to it's original pigstye. I am still searching for things that were 'put away'. I have come to the conclusion that I am not a graciest host and do not want mom anywhere near my silverware. But if you are thinking I am a bad son for giving her rules, well don't. Heck she embellished the whole thing so she didn't have to do things with people. She kept on saying, "Well, I have some chores to do, and I really don't think I'll be able to make it..." Of course I am still going... Chores? Chores? I said RULES... my house, MY RULES... nothing ever came up about CHORES!!! Anyways, we had fun with that... I told my grandmother that she wasn't allowed to use the phone till she got her chores done. Then of course my grandmother piped up saying that I never did any of the chores my mom asked me to do. But to retort, I told her that is because my Mom was a good child, unlike me... On another note, I started my first date in a long time. It wasn't much, just dinner and some chatting. Everything we thought about doing the timing was horrid, so we continued to chat. I will keep you posted as it progresses.

Hi All: :-( My last blog didn't get on here, and now I don't remember what I said except -- part of the tree is gone and we're having the rest professionally taken down since the 100 foot tree will most likely fall on our house or the neighbor's! Also, Kimi, family gatherings sometimes suck, especially with a larger family, and one you don't feel close to. Don't fret. You are VERY normal! Come to our's the next time--heheheee--quiet-just 4 people, and mostly we nap after dinner! And on another note, I'm glad you are doing the LARP thing. It sounds like a blast! Anyway, Tiree--Heinlein might be dated, but still and always excellent! As to your mother, try to get her involved in some kind of group that will get her out of the house, even if only volunteering at the hospital or food kitchen (or even a church!). And if she likes to play cards, find her a card club! Tats: I'm an avid reader too, but lately, like you, I don't have time. I've been reading collections of short stories--science fiction, horror, fairy tales, etc. Its great, because sometimes I can actually finish a whole story before I fall asleep! Heheheee Anyway, talk to ya'll later! *hugs*
