Well... House hunting News: Well I finally got off my butt and started talking to Realtors and Lenders. I am very scared at how much I can afford. If I can get 10% down, I could expect to afford a decent sized home here in California. In fact, big enough of a home, that my Mother and Stepfather could afford together. To be exact more than they sold their house for 11 years ago. Of course, they did have kids, dogs, and car payments... which I have none of.
But it is over the magical barrier in California. Where homes won't drop below a certain point. And the homes that are above that point are coming down in prices... So hopefully I'll be in a home by Christmas.
