Hi Girls!
First off I would like to thank all of you for your sympathies to my step-father. He is doing well, and got home today (Wednesday). From what we can understand he had a blood clot in the lungs. But they also did a heart stress test, and figured out he is only using about 1/3 of it. So I guess we will go on a diet together. I wouldn't mind loosing some weight at the same time. But for the time being he is on like a gazzillion medications 99% of them to counteract other medications.
But I do hope everyone has a wonderful Turkey Day. You all deserve to be with the people you love and enjoy some good food.

Tiree: My sincerest on your stepdad's hospitalization. I can sympathize, with the blood clot I had in my leg (which is still giving me problems). I'm glad he is doing well. Just enjoy the time with him and have a restful Thanksgiving. Rest is the best in this case. *hugs*
Sulis . . . I have never been to Texas, but I do need to go . . . because of a dream I once had. I'm sure its hot, humid, and dry most of the time, but I would love to visit sometime. Hope you are doing well!
Lexa . . . you go girl! Hehehe
Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving to one and all. Hope it is restful, peaceful, joyful, and delicious! I love Thanksgiving because it isn't such a commercial holiday . . . just family, friends, delicious foods, and peace!!!

Sulis, I am sure that no matter where you are in Texas... that it makes it a whole lot better. The major thing I dont like about Texas, is the same with the south. It is too friggin' hot and humid. I am sure it isn't as bad, when you get closer to the coast. But it is something that I can't handle, I never could handle it. In fact when I visited Texas last, I ended up getting sun sickness, it manifested itself as hives.
Yes, my stepfather is doing better. My boss has given me the okay to basically make it a very short week if anything at all. Other than that, everything is cool.
